Posted: 04 Oct 2010 01:22 PM PDT For a simple scan, install ClamWin Portable | PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB drives SpyDLLRemover Portable | PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB drives on a USB thumb drive and open it using your Task Manager. Click on the file tab on the top right corner and in the dropdown click on New Task(Run). Use it to open the drive and run these. Try to source a Windows CD from someone. That is your only solution from the Windows POV. I think piracy is frowned upon here (also illegal) so i wont talk about that option. You can also use a Linux distro (ubuntu is recommended for novice users). |

Is 0.02 MBps for Download and 0.13 Mbps for Upload standard for Bsnl Posted: 04 Oct 2010 11:56 AM PDT Quote: I'm not unconvinced of the result, merely pointing out that Colombo is a bad example. Worse if you live in the South-East of the country - it is, however, an interesting result that Colombo gives a higher speed than Mumbai: even counter-intuitive. As for deducing plans, with companies like BSNL and Tata, this is not always possible as they have a wide array of access mechanisms. Anyway, either way you look at it, you are now getting the prescribed speed of your plan. Your original results of 0.02/0.13 is likely to have been the result of some problem in your city, which now appears to have been fixed. When I said you can deduce my plan from my earlier posts, what I meant was, there was another post(in the same post from me) from me to another member, who had said He was using 750 Unlimited and I replied I am also having the same problem which guarantees 512kbps. But yes I could have been more specific. I am very thankful to you for your guidance. I never thought choosing of server is that much important, since I normally go for the default location. But since you are saying confidently, about problems with Colombo location, you are speaking from your experience, and I would keep this in mind in future while testing for speed. Thanks once again. |
how can i connect my samsung lcd with pc Posted: 04 Oct 2010 11:54 AM PDT If you have HDMI cable ... check if you have connected both ends of HDMI ports currently, right click on ur desktop main screen, go in settings, last tab of display settings identify your screen and choose ur screen to be displayed. if its laptop after connecting hdmi cables simply press Fn (function) + f4 and keep tapping until u choose the best result i.e. screen on laptop and tv, screen on only tv. |

Reliance Broadband Wi-Max Plans [Pune] Posted: 04 Oct 2010 10:59 AM PDT Hi Guys, I m looking for new broadband service in pune , where I found wi-max plans as below: Download speed (Kbps) --- Advance Monthly Rental 600 --- 1500 1024 --- 1900 1228 --- 2200 1536 --- 2700 > where Installation charges Rs.500 & service tax extras as applicable. > Advance Quarterly/Hf Yearly/Annual rental can save ur money. Selling points: > Free Static IP > Always on connectivity > No fair Usage Policy > Round-the-Clock customer support. Is it worth to get Reliance wi-max? when we already know.. speed indicates are on best effort basis, reliance customer support is a Big Joke, wireline is cheaper then wi-max, Wi-Fi router installation and rental charges will be extra. Rain/Storms can affect wi-max service. |
Posted: 04 Oct 2010 10:06 AM PDT Quote: I mean to say BBC never displays any logo with any of its sports broadcast (except Football, where BBC is displayed alongwith score & time). So they dont have word 'LIVE' as well with any of its broadcast. If you can see my previous snap, the screen is complete clean on TV as well as online :) |
