What about the Receiver - what changes to be done?

If you explain it will be better.

Now my receiver cochip got upgraded and could see most of the channels now and then. Earlier I could only see Kalaignar some time

I do not know this is due to whether or software upgrade.

Now I can see the Extra features in my receiver ie Advance installation.

Only using Night Unlimited, still BSNL counting 200-300MB daily data usage extra.

I think someone is piggybacking on your WiFi connection (if you have one). Other than that, it's impossible for the router to consume 200-300 MB per day while there's no data activity. Strange.

yup . . . its up n running.

saw the opening ceremony for a bit. was switching between channel no. 232 (regular dd sports) and 224 (dd sports HD) and there is a huge difference.

Initially thought that 224 might jus be an upscaled 232. But turns out 224 true HD broadcast i believe.

I guess you would also hate to hear the name of site, its bbc's website which was streaming live opening ceremony (and it cant be viewed in India).

BTW I too was not happy with some of things happening at event like still importance given to foreign throne in "independent" India, and also mentioning of Sonia by Kalmadi, which is totally unnecessary, as she hold no official postion as far as nation or games is concerned, though its compulsory for Congressmen :D

I am a very loyal user of yours as i have been using your service since your official launch in Delhi. I am very much satisfied with your services an price packages. The only thing i feel is that you guys dont update channels as other DTH operators do like we are missing NDTV Lumiere, Discover - Science & Turbo, FX, Fox Crime. It would be really great if you guys can bring us these channels. I am eagerly waiting for your HD services also if your pricing and channel packages will be good i will buy that one too for sure.

these players always look for new ways to cheat customers...
but I dont have any expectations from TRAI. If they havent done anything about airtel FUP yet then chances are even more that they will do nothing in this case also.

Dragon works best for doctors and lawyers. For regular users, I think W7's inbuilt speech to text is good enough.

Its not symbol rate, but the bandwidth allocated per channel which playes key role of channel AV quality. Symbol rate is same for whole TP, but bandwidth for channel is different. And as DD HD is from DD Direct+, so DISH TV cannot do anything as far as quality of broadcast is concerned. And from the snaps of DD HD I seen online, it looks good & DD has allocated good bandwidth for HD channel. There could be possibility that DISH TV STB is not capable to provide good quality for DD HD channel, but again it should behave same for all HD channels it provides.

Well if DISH TV claims 70 channels from DD Direct+ as their, then they would have to hear back complaints from their customers :D
Customers should notice * mentioned for DD channels in user guide/manual where its mentioned that these channels are coming from DD Direct+

FUP'd on Turbo 1299 Plan

I thought the Turbo 1299 plans has 2mbps speed with 25GB limit?
I am on the swift 1099 plan and getting 1mbps with no FUP as of now (paying Rs 1099 + taxes)

i am from kerala and old user of BSNL broadband i am satisfied with their speed i got 1.7mbps. now changed to BSNL wimax which gives 2mbps unlimited @ 999. i am happy with BSNL. ( but upload speed in wimax is 240kbps).
Try to contact or went to BSNL CSC.
