Connecting Airtel DTH with TV Tuner and Recording Posted: 06 Sep 2010 11:06 AM PDT Hello guys, Today I took the Airtel DTH hoping i would be able to record program coming on Sony (CID) but when I tried it says "Broadcast is only for viewing, recording prohibited" on Avermedia TV Tuner. Do any of you knows any trick which could bypass this encryption. Earlier, local cable wala use to work very fine. |

Help Required - Reconnecting 2x4 multiswitch to Tata Sky Plus receiver Posted: 06 Sep 2010 09:46 AM PDT Quote: Greetings to all. I am looking for some help in reconnecting the 2x4 multiswitch supplied with Tata Sky Plus. The input and output coax cables to this unit were disconnected by some guys shifting my TV, and they did not take care to remember the connection points. The multiswitch has the following connection points - LNB 13V In, LNB 18V In, Tap1, Tap2, Tap3, Tap4, LNB13V Out, LNB18V Out. Questions- 1. Where do I connect the cable coming from Dish - LNB 13V IN or LNB 18V IN? 2. Which two connectors must be used to connect to the receiver (There are 6: TAP1 - TAP4, LNB 13V Out and LNB 18V Out). Can anyone help please? I do not want to call in their Technician for just connecting the coax cables. Thanks Please help ... |

Posted: 06 Sep 2010 08:48 AM PDT My SD STB has gone bad. My scan of the STB shows no channels. It simply says "nothing to update". :wall::wall::wall: I took my STB to the distributor who sold me the same. His shop was closed. I visited three times after that only to find his shutters down. I went to another distributor nearby. He said that the old distributor's dealership is cancelled and that he is the new distributor for the area. He also said that he will send a technician to my house for rectification. I tried to explain him and he was in no mood to listen or take my STB for repair. I finally had to return, but no technician turned up! :frown::frown::frown: I called SD CC, who told me to visit the distributor. I e-mailed the AP Nodal Officer and there is no response. With great difficulty I could contact the Office of the Nodal Officer, AP. One lady received the call and after listening to my story, said that she will contact me later after checking with the concerned person. I received no phone call later. I placed my problem details in the "Contact us" page in the website - no response. Did anybody's STB ever require any repair and if so how was it rectified. Please post details. Also kindly let me know as to how I can get my STB repaired? I was initially thinking that it was the satellite problem. My STB is down for more than a month now. Please help me out guys! |
