Pre-requisites for getting a new combo connection - BSNL Posted: 31 Aug 2010 01:12 PM PDT Hello Every1, I just moved to Faridabad and looking to get a new connection. BSNL is attractive if I see the plans, however, I am not sure what are the pre-requisite conditions/documentation do I need to present. I have no address proof, no ration card etc as I have just moved in. Would I be able to get a BSNL Broadband connection? If no, then what abt Airtel? I don't want to consider any other ISP than the above two. Pls. suggest. |

Getting billed in unlimited plan Posted: 31 Aug 2010 11:55 AM PDT My account is on alcatel server (@a user) .I changed my plan from 849 NU to 599 unlimited ,yet on the account details page downloaded MB is showing as accounted volume ,it should be 0. Is it normal, since for 849 NU plan login after 10 pm shows accounted volume as 0.I have verified my plan has been changed to DSL Unlimited 599 in the account section. I hope I won't be charged at the end of the month as my usage may exceed 7000 mb +. |
TataSky: September has come, its time for ala-carte Posted: 31 Aug 2010 11:53 AM PDT Will the A-La-Carte system really work in India (if it is launched). Selecting/Managing/Maintaining channel would be a mess for normal users who are not habituated with managing individual channels for their subscription. Then there are so many channels, and each of it has something interesting programme to watch always. Instead of selling individual channels, its good that channels are sold on language or genre (sports, movie, music) type. So it would be easy to manage. Although I prefer choice of A-La-Carte channels, but just a thought on above. |

is it possible to repair BSNL router? Posted: 31 Aug 2010 09:40 AM PDT BSNL modems are not bad. I took connection in Sept 2008 and the modem ( Nokia Siemens C 2110) worked properly till this May. Then changed to a wifi modem from BSNL at Rs. 80 per month rent. Quite happy with the performance. |
