Hello friends, I could see massive optic fibre laying in various parts of country. I had seen conduits of various colours laying in Bangalore, Delhi and varanasi. Dont know about other places, can you guys confirm this. I had seen cable laying in as remote places of saarnath temple, Ganga ghat in banaras. I liked delta peripherals very much while I was in chennai.Their prices are reasonable & they maintain online price list too.They only stock few brands which are the best in the category.I can see most of the peripherals are cheaper when compared to flipkart /snapdeal /ebay.I'm little skeptical about online ordering from them since I'm now in AP.Looking for same kind of service in AP.

Alright, so I've been using an unlocked MTS CDMA dongle(Huawei EC122) and a Reliance CDMA RUIM for quite some time now for data on the move. 90 bucks for 1.5GB, pretty decent; and much cheaper than netconnect+ for the same speed.

 

Now with TATA having launched their Photon Max network, I was wondering if one could get a tata CDMA RUIM, put it into either zte ac2792 or huawei EC 306, and get the same "Photon Max" speeds at 94 for 1GB(current EVDO revA/3.1mbit pricing).

 

Any clues?

hai, this is my story.
while surfing net i found some people telling unable to record Airtel DTH programs through
Composite Video input to tuner card.
Can Composite Video be protected ???
Answer is YES - Macrovision.

In good old days VHS tapes were protected from copying.Now it is Composite Video that is protected.
I was using Intex tuner card with Composite Video Input from STB ,but i was able to record all programs using ChrisTV.
May be Intex is taking account protection flag.

Then what are these people telling about recording prohibited ???

To find out I bought a new Tv Tuner Card AVerTV Super 009 M733 Aver Media.

Installed it and to my surprise ChrisTV only shows Channel 100 [ Demo Ch] of Airtel STB through Composite Input.
and only demo channel can be recorded.

All other channels are blanked out ....?? First thought --- Man I lost money

So I installed AverTV that came with Tuner card and It shows all channels
Money not wasted
... wait tried recording ... Is tells recording prohibited ????

Even Tvideograbber SDK does not show channels only demo channel...

So some reverse engineering required >>>>
Took my tool IDA Pro [got retail version v6.1 realy good]
and analysed driver files of tuner card.

To my surprise I found default setting of AverMedia TV Tuner Card is to prohibit recording of
Macrovison protected Video and to blank out video if we are not using AverTV to view.

Finally I managed to change the default setting and
now using ChrisTV and Tvideograbber to view and record videos.

Aver Media Tv Tuner Card AVerTV Super 009 M733 is really a
good card with no bulky tuners and also it has composite Input.

Anyone facing the problem can contact me for solution.

I had to start a new thread because I'm having this trouble EVERY SINGLE TIME I bust the FUP, the speed just doesn't revert to normal on the 1st day of a new month (it takes a few days). The customer care haven't a clue what's happening, sometimes they say they are aware but then then they also say it's going to be taken care of in couple hours.

I tried logging in and out multiple times at different times but it just doesn't work eh?

 

Firstly, frustration hits bottom right after that limit and your speed plummets down to a snail's, so there's no youtube, no porn and facebook takes a bunch of minutes to show a notification, it makes you feel like you went back in time to use a dial up. Secondly, when you're painfully waiting for that first day of the new month, and when the speed stays the same, you really want to beat someone up.

 

Is it just me or what? Cause I haven't read a thread stating a problem like this.

It's 1st today and my speed is still messing about < 512kbps.

 

ACT, you need to deal with it soon, I do not think it's NOT beyond your control.

 

Personally, I think ACT should look into an idea like Airtel's Smartbytes. It's really cool. You pay to buy data and speed between the time that you hit the FUP and the end of the billing-cycle, it helps all the time.

Today, while coming to office, I was listening to Radio Mirchi, and there the RJ was playing songs dedicated by the parents for their child(ren).

There's one father who dedicated the song "Kajra Re" for his son. There's another father who dedicated the song "Dhoom Machale Dhoom" for his son. Now, after those two requests, there was one mother who dedicated the song "Jaadu Jaadu" for her daughter.

Now we can see the real contrast in the choice of songs between the dads and the mom (or for the son and the daughter). What do you think which was it? Or does it indicate some kind of specific mentality?

Its been a month since I started using TATAT DOCOMO postpaid connection with rs 350 plan, which promises me 1GB 3G internet + 2G unlimited internet. But as soon I took the connection I realised that TATA DOCOMO internet connets once, stays on for 30 minutes and after that disconnects. It doesnt connect back for the entire day(How many ever times you try). The next day I either have to switch off/on or Remove/Reinsert my SIM to connect the internet back again. I have raised several complaints with Tata Docmo Customer Care regarding this. The solution they gave was to "IP Pooling issue for the entire of karnataka Circle, so Keep turning off/on the data to reconnect back and occasionally try switch off/on also". I am tired of turning off/on my data connection on my MOTOROLA ATRIX 2. My question is when TATA DOCOMO can't provide the service promised, why should I pay their postpaid bill? I feel cheated by this geasture of TATA DOCOMO. Please provide me valuable suggestion to file a Consumer Complaint regarding the same. Customer complaint numbers are 759078273, 381921313

Cons:
1. it has too many
2. Coverage is too thin , forget about slow speed there are places where u wont get any service at all
3. u just cannot walk to a BSNL office and buy this sim , because 70% of them doesnt know there is a service like this
4. CDMA
5. Availability of CDMA- EVDO modems in the market
6. Recharge Problems , those STVs mentioned on the site dont work most of the time ( lost Rs 1000 over online Recharge couple of times)

even after all the above i just love this connection , its prepaid and costs 750 pm , unlimited
have nice coverage in my town , so always get 1-2mbps , but dont ask about the ping or latency values

with this connection i have never thought about another connection for 3 years now .

I was recently prompted by a friend to shop at http://www.shopclues.com/ for their 'Sunday Flea Market'. The items of interest mobile phone covers. There was a code which would get you a cover for Rs 63+ shipping. I created my login then went about selecting the relevant mobile covers, the quantity, added the promo code which showed it was valid. But it did made no difference to the overall billing amount which was Rs 758/-. Now it should have been only 63*2+29=155. So I cancelled y order, I tried again later & got the same result. That was when I decided to delete my a/c but to my shock I could NOT do so, I went thru the FAQ's here's what I found.

• I cannot delete my a/c (I find this totally unacceptable)

I it is a sad incident of Act which is still  not resolved i have taken act broad band connection with upfront 6 months paid for it and from 25th onwards its is not working i had to call the customer care wherin they gave a TAT of 24 working hours and says thats working hours is 3 days and till now the compalnt status says that tried to ping the ip but  not responding  when i contacted nodal team on call and spoke to person Ravi  i got reply that i can go no where he is the entire Bangalore escalation head and will get the same fixed by 26th by 7 PM but after that there is no update regarding the same where in am running pillar to post but getting same answer that give us some time .I am repenting why did i go to ACT broadband from Airtel as there is no proper response even after esclating things.

 

 

I will wait for a day and file a case in consumer forum reg the same for my losses incurred for disrupted services,

I am located in thane west and have been using 5net for about 3 months now.

The main reason i switched over to 5net  from my tata indicom adsl was the torrent speeds.

I always used to get 900kB/s fro popular torrents and even 7-8 MB/s for more popular torrents.

Later i discovered that it is due to BtCache/ CacheBT..

but since 2-3 weeks... i am not getting such high speeds on torrents. max i can go upto is 130-140kB/s (i.e my 1mbps UL plan)

BtCache/CacheBT no longer shows up in the peer list for the currently downloading torrents (as many of you might know.. this is a network caching cluster of fivenet which provides such amazing speeds... simply put.. local torrent caching)

 

i can see however that youtube still works good for 720 even 1080p videos(i.e youtube is still cached)

 

 

has fivenet stopped torrent caching??

any one else facing a similar issue??

A BBNL technician recently told me that FTTH will be introduced soon ( possibly by Jan/Feb 2014 ).

 

With 'fiber to the home' I am hoping consistent speed ,bettery quality and hopefully lesser down times.

 

Existing modem will be replaced with a fiber optic modem and the technician says it would be a free replacement. He also said that faster speed plans apart from the current max of 10 mbps ( unlimited download ) are also in the anvil.

Its frustrating that BSNL is yet to launch truly unlimited 1/2/4 Mbps plans for < 1500Rs. Its perpetually offering 512Kbps speeds from last 4-5 years. Not only that, they are not even offering speed boost say after 6pm like MTNL does. Its not only about downloading torrents. Even if i want to watch Youtube files, I am not able to with 512kbps. They should start offering speed boost to 2/4Mbps at 6pm to 8am slot if offering the same at daytime is not possible. What can we do in this situation ? Can we all raise a CRM ticket at selfcare portal to demand this ?

I am using Airtel BB in Noida and I'm not able to connect to WoW, Diablo3 and League of Legends today. Also some of the sites are not opening up. This happened 2 days back as well, but things sorted themselves out.

 

I think the international gateway is down. Anyone else experiencing the same problems?

This is the worst condition and water is dripping from top from a air conditioning duck.

I am also going to sent an email with this pic to the mtnl so called babus so that they can see what the hell is going on in my society.

 

Airtel speed sucks and they have fup but atleast in my society they have a decent box installed with proper wiring.Here you can see the MTNL wiring and the box does not even has a close lid.

 

If you guys have the same or the worse scenario do share you experience with the pic.

help friends en bsnl ke employes nai tang kar deyaa  haii  5 month ho gaye hai jab bhi jata hun  montly  bill dene ke  leye har time koi excuse dete hai . kabe kahte 12 baje lunch time hai kabi kahte hai  31 last ko holiday hote haoi kabi kahte hai  pc khrab hai kabi kahtee hai jisne bill lenaa vo nai haiii har bar 2 chakar laga dete hai mere bill jama karne ke leye   they are too lazy to do any work pls tell how i can complaint that bastards...and whre ....
